-Beef brisket 3/4 ts Cayenne pepper
1 1/2 ts Salt 6 tb Butter, melted
1 1/2 ts Pepper 1 tb Dry mustard
2 tb Chili powder 2 tb Liquid smoke
1 ts Crumbled bay leaf -Salt pepper
2 tb Liquid smoke 1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
--BARBECUE SAUCE: 2 ts Celery salt
3 tb Brown sugar 1/2 c Water
14 oz Catsup
Combine salt, pepper, chili powder, bay leaves and liquid smoke. Rub
meat on all sides with mixture. Place meat fat side up in large
roasting pan. Cover tightly and bake 4 hours at 325 degrees. After
meat is cooked, cut thin slices across the grain; mix with the
barbecue sauce and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve on buns.
