1 lb Buffalo meat 15 1/2 oz Rinsed/dra
Cubed or coarsely ground 1 cn Pinto beans -- 15 oz
2 tb Cooking oil Rinsed/drained
2 c Onion -- diced 1 cn Green chilies -- 4 ounces
2 c Green pepper -- diced Chopped
2 cn Tomatoes -- 16 oz ea diced 2 ts Chili powder
W/liq 1 ts Salt optional
2 c Tomato juice 1/2 ts Pepper
1 cn Dark red kidney beans --
In a large kettle or Dutch oven, brown meat in oil; drain. Add onion
and green pepper; saute for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients
and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1-1/2 to 2 hours
or until the meat is tender. Yield: 6 servings (1-1/2 quarts).

2 lean meat, 2 starch, 1 vegetable; also, 271 calories, 574 mg
