2 T Granulated sugar 1 Portion Vanilla Dough
1/8 c Walnuts -see Basic Cookie Dough
1/4 t Ground cinnamon -recipe
Process sugar, nuts, and cinnamon in food processor until nuts are
finely chopped. roll dough on lightly floured surface into a 10-inch
circle. Cut into 16 wedges and sprinkle with nut mixture, leaving a
1-inch border all around. Slide out 1 wedge at a time with a small
metal spatula. Roll up from wide edge to point. Put on ungreased
cookie sheets and curve each into a crescent. Bake 10 to 12 min. at
350degF , until golden. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
Per cookie: 65 ca., 1 g pro, 8 g car, 4 g fat, 11 mg chol with
butter, 3 mg cho with margarine, 31 mg sod. Exchanges: 1/4
starch/bread, 1/4 fruit, 2/3 fat
