1 c Uncooked rotini 1/2 lb Turkey breast slices, cut
2 ts Olive oil or oil -into strips
1 md Onion, sliced 15 oz Can tomato sauce
1 sm Green pepper, seeded and cut 15 oz Can chick peas, drained
-into strips 3/4 ts Dried oregano leaves
2 cl Garlic, minced
Cook rotini to desired doneness. Drain and keep warm. Heat oil in a
large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot. Add onion, pepper,
garlic, and turkey. Cook, stirring, 5-10 minutes until turkey is no
longer pink. Add tomato sauce, beans and oregano; mix well. Bring to
boiling; reduce heat and cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until thoroughly
heated. Serve over rotini.
