1 c Flour -1/2" pieces or 16 oz can,
1/3 c Sugar -drained and chopped
1 1/2 ts Baking powder 1/2 c Pecans; chopped
1/2 ts Cinnamon 2/3 c Brown sugar
1/4 ts Salt 1/4 c Margarine; room temperature
ds Cloves 3/4 c Boiling water
1/2 c Milk Ice cream or whipped topping
4 Pears; peeled and cut into
Preheat oven to 375. In large mixing bowl, stir together flour,
sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and cloves. Add milk and beat
until smooth. Stir in pears and pecans. Turn into an ungreased 2 qt
casserole. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, butter and water.
Mix well and pour evenly over batter. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve
