1 c Chocolate chips 1/2 ts Baking powder
6 tb Shortening 8 oz Cream cheese
1/2 c Honey 1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs -- beaten 1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla ds Salt
1/2 ts Butter flavoring 1/2 c Nuts -- chopped
1/2 c Flour
Melt chocolate chips and shortening over low heat, stirring
constantly. Cool Stir in honey and eggs. Sift together dry
ingredients and blend in. Pour half the batter into a greased 9x9 pan
and reserve remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10
minutes (batter will still be soft). While this is baking, cream
together the cream cheese and sugar. Beat in the egg and salt. Stir
in nuts. Spread over batter in pan, then top with reserved batter
and swirl slightly to marbelize. Return pan to oven and bake about
30 minutes longer. Cool completely and cut into bars.
