4 oz Blue cheese, crumbled 2 tb Minced chives
(about 1 cup) 1 1-pint basket cherry
1 c Mayonnaise -tomatoes with stems
1/4 c Buttermilk
Mash half of blue cheese with 1/4 C mayonnaise in medium bowl until
almost smooth. Gradually mix in remaining mayonnaise and buttermilk.
Gently stir in remaining cheese and all but 1 T of chives. (Can be
pre- pared 1 day ahead. Cover sauce and remaining chives separately
and chill.)
Spoon sauce into small bowl. Garnish with remaining chives. Place on
large platter. Surround bowl with cherry tomatoes and serve.
