1 tb Butter 2/3 c Apple cider
3 lb Chicken, cut in serving 1 tb Dijon mustard
-pieces 2 Sprigs fresh thyme
1 lg Onion, thinly sliced -OR-
1/2 ts Salt 1/2 ts Dried thyme
1/2 ts Pepper 2/3 c Light cream
Melt butter in deep skillet. Add chicken and brown on all sides. Add
onion, salt, pepper and cider. Mix mustard, thyme, and cream
together; stir into chicken. Simmer chicken 30-35 minutes. Serve with
boiled potatoes and carrots. 4 servings.
