1 Stick butter or margarine -- (16 oz)
-- (plus 5 1/3 tbs); softene 1 c Flour
2 1/3 c Sugar 1 c Walnuts; chopped
4 Eggs 6 tb Milk
1 cn Chocolate-flavored syrup; 1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation Time: 1:00 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium bowl,
beat 1 stick butter and 1 cup sugar with an electric mixer on medium
until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after
each addition. Beat in chocolate syrup and flour until well blended,
3 to 4 mins. 2. Stir in nuts. Spread batter evenly in a greased 9 x
13-inch baking pan. Bake 30 to 35 mins, or until set. Do not
overbake. 3. Meanwhile, prepare frosting. In a small saucepan,
combine remaining 5 1/3 Tbs butter, remaining 1 1/3 cups sugar, and
milk. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring often. Boil 1 min.
Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Beat until frosting is
smooth and of spreading consistency. 4. Spread frosting evenly over
hot brownies. Let cool to room temperature before cutting into 36
bars 2 1/8 x 1 1/2 inches.
