Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

1 qt Water 1 ts Black pepper
2 lb Lean hamburger 1/2 ts Red pepper or chili pepper
1 ts Cinnamon 1 tb Salt
1 ts Cumin seed or ground cumin 1 1/2 ts Ground allspice
1 lg Chopped onions 1 cn (6 oz) tomato paste
1 ts Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tb Cider vinegar
1 Garlic toe 3 lg Whole bay leaves
2 tb Chili powder

Crumble raw (do not brown) hamburger into water; add all ingredients.
Bring to boil, then simmer 3 hours. Remove garlic toe and bay leaves.
Add whole red peppers (if desired) for spicier taste.
