Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

3 T Margarine or butter -small pieces
3 T All-purpose flour 2 T Onion flakes
1/2 t Garlic powder 1 ea Package (30-23 oz) frozen
1/8 ea To 1/4 teaspoon cayenne -corn kernals, thawed and
-pepper (or to taste) -drained
3/4 c Milk 2 T Diced red pepper
1 1/2 c Coarsely grated American 2 T Diced green pepper
-cheese (About 6 ounces) 3/4 c Lean cooked ham, trimmed
3 ea Ounces cream cheese, -and diced
-softened and cut in to Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a 3-quart saucepan over low heat, melt margarine or butter, Whisk
in flour, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Blend well and slowly
add milk, shisking constantly until smooth. Increase heat to medium
and cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture is
tickened an bubbling. Stir in American cheese, cream cheese and onion
glakes, Then reduce heat to low. Cook and stir until cheese is melted
and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in corn, red and
green peppers, and ham. Pour mixture into a 2-quart casserole disk.
Bake 20 minutes covered or until heated through. Uncover and bake 15
minutes more. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes. Using a
paper towl blot off any excess oil and serve. Serves 10 to 12 From
