4 Northern Spy apples, cored
And the top third peel
Removed
1/2 c Sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon
Cinnamon
1/4 c Dried cherries
1/4 c Chopped walnuts
4 tb Melted butter
1 1/4 c Cider
Place apples in an 8x8 baking dish or round oval. Sprinkle the
cinnamon sugar mixture in the cavities. Mix the cherries, walnuts and
butter and fill the cavities. Pour the cider in the bottom of the
baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
