1 tb Vegetable oil 1/4 ts Hot pepper sauce
1 c Chopped onions - (or more, to taste)
1 c Sliced celery 3 c Cooked or canned pinto beans
8 oz Tomato sauce - (OR any type of bean)
1/2 c Water -- drained
1/2 ts Salt 3 c Hot cooked brown rice
In large skillet, cook onions and celery in oil until tender. Stir in
tomato sauce, water, seasonings, and beans. Heat thoroughly. Serve
over hot rice.
Each serving provides: * 270 calories * 10.6 g. protein * 3.3 g. fat
* 50.5 g. carbohydrate * 270 mg. sodium * 0 mg. cholesterol
