Just 3 simple ingredients -enough water to the syrup
-in this refreshing gelatin -to make 3 1/2 cups.
-ring fill with Heat half of the syrup
Cream-cheese Balls. -mixture to boiling; add to
2 ea 1-pound cans (4 cups) -gelatin and stir until
-grapefruit segments Dissolved. Add remaining
2 ea Packages lemon-flavored -syrup mixture; cool.
-gelatin -Select 8 of best grapefruit
8 ea Maraschino cherries Segments. Arrange in bottom
1 ea Recipe Cream-cheese Balls -of 1 1/2-quart ring mold
Drain grapefruit and add -with maraschino

cherries between each segment. Carefully pour half the gelatin
mixture over fruits in mold; chill till firm. Meanwhile chill
remaining gelatin mixture till partially set; add remaining
grapefruit segments and carefully pour mixture over firm gelatin in
mold. Chill till set. Unmold on platter; line center with endive and
fill with Cream-cheese Balls: Soften one 8-ounce package cream
cheese; add 1/2 cup chopped California walnuts. Form in 3/4-inch
balls; chill. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
