16 oz Lentils 1/2 c Onion; chopped
1 ts Mustard, dry 1 c Water
1/4 ts Ginger, ground 6 sl Bacon
1 tb Soy sauce 1/2 c Honey
Simmer lentils 30 minutes in enough water to cover. Combine mustard,
ginger, soy sauce, onion, and 1 cup water; stir into cooked lentils.
Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces. Stir two-thirds of bacon into lentils;
sprinkle remainder over the top. Pour honey over all. Cover
tightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover last few minutes to
brown the bacon.
