See below ingredients and instructions of the recipe
1/2 c Olive oil
2 tb ( green pepper ) mustard
Splash of lemon juice
2 Cinnamon sticks
3 c Veg. or chicken broth
3 c Raw rice or orzo
1/2 lb Green peas
1/2 ts Salt
2 Fresh hot chilis ( opt )
1 ts (Black) mustard seed
4 Hard cooked eggs diced
(opt)
In a saucepan combine oil, mustard and lemon juice. cook a few
minutes. Add cinnamon and cook 5 minutes more. Stir in broth plus 2
cups of water. Bring to a boil. Add rice, peas and salt, chili
peppers and mustard seeds.Cover and cook low heat,until rice is
cooked. remove cinnamon sticks. stir in hard cooked egg if using.
Note: Black mustard seeds and green pepper mustard may be found in
gourmet food sections . An Indian recipe.
