1/2 c Powdered sugar 1 c Pecans or walnuts
2 ts Vanilla extract -- chopped

Preparation Time: 0:55 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. To make shortbread
crust, in a food processor, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar,
and 1 tsp vanilla. Process until mixture forms a cohesive dough.
Press mixture evenly over bottom of a foil-lined 10 x 15-inch
jelly-roll pan. Bake 18 to 22 mins, or just until very light golden.
2. Meanwhile, make brownie-nut topping. In a 1-qt glass bowl, melt
chocolate in microwave on High 1 1/2 to 2 mins, stirring once, until
melted and smooth when stirred. With a fork, beat in granulated
sugar, eggs, remaining 1 tsp vanilla, and salt until well blended.
Stir in nuts. Spread evenly over crust. 3. Bake 13 to 15 mins, or
until set. let cool. Cut into 54 bars or triangles as desired.
