1 2 1/2-3 lb frying chicken; 1 Cl Garlic; crushed
2 tb Oil or melted margarine 1/2 ts Salt
3 tb Lemon juice, fresh ds Pepper
Recipe by: 1975 American Heart Association Brochure Preheat oven to
350 F. In a bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, garlic, salt and pepper.
Arrange chicken in a shallow casserole or baking pan, and pour over
it the lemon and oil mixture. Cover and bake until tender, about 40
mins, basting occasionally. Uncover casserole and bake 10 mins longer
to allow chicken to brown. To serve, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Yield: 4 servings. Approx. 215 cal/serving
