1/4 c Cornstarch 1 ts Vanilla
1/4 ts Salt 1 ts Grated orange rind
1 3/4 c Skim milk 2/3 c Splenda (artificial sweetner
2 Eggs,beaten
---------------------------TRIFLE--------------------------------
1/2 pk Lowfat pound cake,cubed 3 c Assorted fruits or canned
2 tb Unsweetened strawberry jam Fruits
1 tb Orange liqueur or orangejuic
Directions Mix sweetener cornstarch ,salt in heavy saucepan Stir in
milk. Stir over medium heat until boiling Simmer,stirring ,over low
heat 2 minutes Gradually stir into eggs Return to saucepan; cook and
stir 1 minute Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and orange rind CHILL
Cut pound cake in half lengthwise Spread with jam , put layers
together ,cut into 1/2" cubes Place in glass bowl Drizzle with
liqueur or orangejuice Arrange fruit on top Spread custard over fruit
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
