3/4 lb Fusilli lunghi (long curly 2 tb Finely chopped drained, sun-
Pasta) or other pasta Dried tomatoes
1 lb Ripe tomatoes 3 tb Chopped fresh basil
1 tb Oil drained from sun-dried Salt and freshly ground
Tomatoes Pepper to taste
1 md Onion;chopped 1/2 c Grated Asiago cheese
2 Garlic cloves;chopped fine
Cook pasta in large amount of boiling salted water until tender;
drain.
Meanwhile, halve, seed and chop tomatoes; set aside. In large heavy
saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and garlic; saute
until onion is tender, about 3 minutes. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes
and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, basil and salt and pepper; stir
until heated through, about 1 minute.
Add tomato sauce to pasta and toss. Sprinkle cheese on top.
