1/2 c Butter 1 ts Vanilla
2 tb Butter 1 1/2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 c Peanut butter 1 ts Baking soda
2 tb Peanut butter 1 ts Salt (opt)
3/4 c Firmly packed brown sugar 3 c Old-fashioned oats, uncooked
1/2 c Granulated sugar 1 pk Semisweet chocolate chips
1 Egg -(12 oz)
1. Heat oven to 375'F. Beat butters and sugar until fluffy. Beat in
egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake
8-9 minutes for a chewy cookie, 10-11 minutes for a crisp cookie.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack, cool, store
tightly covered.
Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
