1 Chuck roast; bone in or bone 1/2 ts Pickling spice
1 cn Whole tomatoes; large Salt to taste
1/2 c Red wine 4 A potatoes; quartered
3 Cloves garlic; sliced 23 A large onions; sliced
Place the roast in a baking pan. Place the potatoes around it. Put the
sliced onions on top of this. Pour the tomatoes on next, cutting them
up a bit. Pour on the wine, add the spices and add enough water to
slightly cover. Bake at 350 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours or until
everything is tender. You can use sweet potatoes if you like. FROM:
