Cooking Preparation of the Recipe:

4 sl Toast; buttered *or*
4 sl Fried bread
1 oz Butter
4 Eggs
2 tb Milk
pn Salt
Pepper to taste
Anchovy fillets

Make the toast and butter it or fry the bread. Keep warm. Melt the
butter in a saucepan. Stir in the eggs and milk, season and cook
over a gentle heat, stirring continuously, until the mixture
thickens. Spoon the eggs on to the toast and top with anchovy
fillets. Delicious as a light supper.
