2 Green onions 2 md Ripe tomatoes, sliced
1 sm Head Boston lettuce 1 c Fresh blueberries
1 lb Piece smoked turkey, cut Lime slices (opt.)
-into 4 by 1/2 inch-thick Balsamic vinegar or prepared
-strips -salad dressing (opt.)
1. At least 30 minutes before assembling salad, cut green onions
lengthwise into thin strips. Cut strips across into 3-inch lengths.
Drop in small bowl of ice water and refrigerate 15 minutes to curl.
2. Divide lettuce among 4 chilled plates. Arrange smoked turkey,
tomatoes, blueberries, and drained green onion curls on lettuce. if
desired, cut lime slices crosswise to within 1/4 inch of edge and
twist for garnish. Pass balsamic vinegar or prepared salad dressing
to serve on salad, if desired.
