2 Or 3 Garlic Cloves -- 1 c Apple Cider
-finely chopped 2 md Carrots -- julienned 2" x
1 md Bermuda Onion -- sliced -1/4"
-in 1/8" rings 2 Granny Smith Apples --
2 tb Butter Or Margarine -sliced in 1/8" wedges
1. In a skillet over med-high heat, saute the garlic and onion in the
butter or margarine until translucent.
2. Add 1/2 cup of the apple cider and the carrots and bring to a
vigorous simmer. Cook for 5 mins. Add the apples and simmer for about
1 minute, then add the rest of the cider. Simmer for another 5 mins,
then serve hot.
This is particularly good with pork. Makes 3 to 4 servings.
