1/2 lb Smoked sausage
1/2 c Green pepper; chopped
1/2 c Onion; chopped
1 ea Garlic clove; minced
1 tb Flour
14 1/2 oz Can whole tomatoes
1 c Water
2 ts Dried parsley
1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1/4 ts Whole thyme
1/8 ts Ground red pepper
1 c Raw converted rice
8 oz Shrimp; peeled deveined
Place sausage, green pepper, onion and garlic in rice bowl. Add 1/2
cup water to reservoir, cover and steam from 10 to 12 minutes.
Stir flour into sausage mixture. Blend well. Add remaining ingredients
except shrimp. Add 2-1/2 cups water to reservoir, cover and steam 43
to 44 minutes.
Add shrimp. Add 1/2 cup water to reservoir, cover and steam 10 to 12
minutes.
Serves 4
Total steaming time: 63 to 68 minutes.
