5 c Vegetable broth 1/2 ts Lemon pepper (or, some black
1 pk Morninstar links, sliced Pepper a dash of lemon
(vegetarian sausage Juice, I suppose)
Substitute) 1 Thinly sliced serrano chilis
1 md Onion, chopped (or more, or another
3 Green onions, thinly sliced Variety, if you
1 Bell pepper (your choice of Like)
Color), diced 1 c Small shell pasta
2 Bay leaves 1 c Frozen peas
1. In a large pot, combine veg broth, links, onion, green onion, bell
pepper, bay leaves, lemon pepper, and serranos. Simmer for 20 minutes.
2. Add pasta shells and simmer another 7 to 9 minutes, until cooked
tender.
3. Add peas and heat to warm. Ladle into bowls and serve.
