1 lb Beef, ground 1 c Milk
1 lb Pork, ground 1 tb Worcestershire sauce
1 lb Veal, ground 1 c Chili sauce; divided
1/4 c Onion; finely chopped 1/4 c Breadcrumbs, dry
1/4 c Celery; finely chopped 1/4 c Cheese, Parmesan
1 c Oatmeal; quick-cooking 1/4 c Peanuts; chopped
2 ts Salt 2 tb Sugar, brown
1/4 ts Pepper 2 tb Fruit juice
2 Eggs; beaten 1 ts Mustard, prepared
Combine all the ground meat and mix thoroughly. Add onion, celery,
oatmeal, salt, and pepper. Add beaten egg to milk; add
Worcestershire sauce and add to meat mixture; mix well. Form into 3
loaves and place in a greased 13x9x2" pan. Spread 1/2 cup chili
sauce over 1 loaf and sprinkle on a topping made by combine dry
breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
Spread second loaf with 1/2 cup chili sauce and sprinkle with chopped
peanuts. Top third loaf with a glaze made by combine brown sugar,
fruit juice, and mustard. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
