3 pt Strawberries; washed, hulled 1/4 c Flour
1 pt Raspberries 2 tb Vanilla
1 pt Blackberries 1 ea Recipe biscuits from a mix
1 pt Blueberries 1 tb Cinnamon-sugar
1 2/3 c Sugar; divided
Reserve 1 pint of strawberries. Put the rest and the other berries
in a heavy pot and sprinkle with two-thirds cup of sugar and the
flour. In a food processor puree the reserved strawberries with 1 cup
of sugar and the vanilla. Pour the puree over the berry mixture and
bring to a boil, stirring. Pour the fruit mixture into a 9- x 13- x
2-inch baking dish. Drop the prepared biscuit dough by spoonfuls on
top of the hot fruit until it is almost covered. Sprinkle the
cinnamon-sugar over the dough. Bake in a preheated 425-degree oven
for 35 to 40 minutes until the top is lightly browned. Cool slightly
and serve.
Makes 12 servings.
